Reba McEntire’s album discography contains a vast body of work that includes 35 studio albums, 25 compilation albums, two live albums, three extended plays as well as 27 other albums she appeared on. To date, 27 of these albums have received at least Gold certification from the RIAA, including her 1993 compilation Greatest Hits Volume Two album, which has become a quadruple-platinum album with a reported 5 million copies sold in the US alone. In fact, Reba has sold 41 million certified albums in the uS alone making her the 7th best selling female album artist in the United States.

Early Reba McEntire Studio Albums

Reba’s debut self-titled studio album was released on August 15, 1977 under the PolyGram/Mercury label. The album found some success but failed to reach the US or Canadian billboard charts at the time.

She would finally break into the charts with her 1981 album, Heart to Heart, which was released on August 17. The album broke into the US Country albums chart with a peak placement at #42.

But it wasn’t until 1974’s My Kind of Country album when Reba first gained RIAA certification. The album, which peaked at #13 on the Country Albums chart, was certified gold by the RIAA.
